    • Marital status

    • Household income

    • Proximity to you


    Household income might seem like it’d be difficult to get an answer out of your clients. They’ll often tell you if you simply ask on the form you hand them. If they don’t, use your best guess based on where they live.


    This is important because it’ll tell you exactly how you need to advertise. You’ll get far more bang for your buck. You’ll have more people walking in your door. And the right clients will keep on coming back through that door. 


    You might think you know what your average client looks like, but you need to deal with facts so you can be more effective. Taking your best guess or going with your gut causes plane crashes and a LOT of missed opportunities. 


    Your average client might change over time, so be sure to verify them every 6 months.
